Lodge Accommodations

The Matthews Ranch provides a comfortable three bedroom, two bath hunting lodge for the exclusive use of hunters and their guests.  Each hunter will enjoy a nicely furnished private or semi-private bedroom and bath, depending on the number of hunters and guests.

This lodge also includes a comfortable living room (with large-screen TV and fireplace), dining room, and kitchen, and an attached garage with washer and dryer.  The lodge has an adjacent fire pit, where hunters and guests can relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of South Texas ranch country. 

Meals for those on packaged hunts are taken in the nearby main lodge, where hunters and guests can enjoy the comfort of a spacious great room with high cathedral ceiling and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, while enjoying South Texas food specialties.   While the Matthews Ranch does not provide or serve alcohol, nor permit its use while hunting, hunters and guests are free in the evenings to enjoy any alcoholic beverages they may have brought  with them .
